The Jefferson Park Neighborhood

This area became part of the incorporated Town of Highlands when Denver City and the city of Auraria merged in 1861. Just across from RiverClay's distinctive front door is Denver's seven-acre Jefferson Park. Dedicated in the early 1900's Jefferson Park was named after President Thomas Jefferson, the founder of the Democratic Party.
